What do you look for when you are buying a stocking stuffer? Small? Affordable? Functional? What about the social impact? And whether it was made fairly?
When we were on the ground in Vietnam in September we were honoured to meet the tailours who made the 10 different designs.
We spoke with Mr. Quan. He shared with us about the massive life change he and his family had experienced as products they are skilled in making are now able to be sold in markets that they personally would not have been able to get to. Without the support of Fashion 4 Freedom providing both a loan and job skills training they would have remained trapped in extreme poverty.
So what are you filling up your stockings with this Christmas? Maybe a fairly made tie is exactly what is needed?
